DSM 800

As we leave Grenada in a few weeks, many of our things will not. We have been looking forward to getting rid of most of these things for almost two years now. But amidst all of the yellowed, stained shirts and the bowls and silverware, there is one thing however that will be missed. Our stand mixer has been in the family for about 8 years now, and has served us well. It has been the workhorse of creation for about 100 cakes, 5000 loaves of bread (no joke, we make a lot of bread), and countless first-tries (homemade cool-whip, marshmallows and salt-water taffy to name a few). The greatest thing, is our mixer has done all of this with a re-welded mixing bowl and a cracked control piece (it took a dive off the table during one particularly fierce pane francesa mixing experience). It is a workhorse, and although we will miss it, hopefully it will bring as many good eats to its new home as it has to ours. Weird that I care about it this much, but come on, is there anything better than a kitchen appliance?

That thing looks heavier than you and Jayson put together.
