In Grenada:

• Speed limits could be in kilometers or MPH, depending on who donated the sign
• Maurice Bishop Highway should put in bleachers so more than just drivers can be amused
• repaving means pouring concrete in all of the holes that used to be filled with concrete patches, and then leveling the concrete with the back of a shovel, even though less than 10 feet away there is a real roller, which is probably just out of gas.
  
• buildings come first, then plans for the buildings.
• they finally put bathrooms in the lecture hall, but punish those who use them by denying soap and a drying method for several months
• "to have" means you will be dining in, while "to take" means to go.
• bell peppers don't exist, they are disguised as green peppers
• Any word can be shortened with an x, even if it is a short word (Rick's becomes Rix)
• not having a child actually does make you less of a woman
• all vegetables at restaurants taste like they have been fried in fish oil, even when they are fresh
• orange means green
• lime means lemon
• plums are a delicacy
