We now have a bite-size watermelon to watch grow. I was surprised to find this little guy growing under one of the leaves. I didn't expect it to all happen so quickly after the transplant a few weeks ago. It looked like we were going to lose them, but I guess the ground is fertile in Grenada!

good luck with your watermelon..mine have been a bust this year. One wasn't ripe, one was plenty ripe but not sweet...I'm ready to give up!
I am so jealous! Mine haven't developped yet, I probably won't get any. I sadly killed what was going to be my biggest pumpkin. It was the size of a basketball and my mom told me to put something under it so it wouldn't rot. I barely touched it and the stem broke off!
